Arithmetic Operations

The '+' operator adds two numbers together.
3 + 7 = 10

The '-' operator subtracts two numbers.
18 - 6 = 12

The '*' operator multiplies two numbers.
5 * 9 = 45

The '/' operator divides two numbers.
120 - 10 = 12

The '%' operator returns the modulus two numbers.
5 % 7 = 5

The '++' operator placed before a value increments it by one, then returns it.
Current Number: 7
Pre-increment: 8
New Number: 8

The '++' operator placed after a value returns the value in its current from, then increments it by one.
Current Number: 7
Post-increment:7
New Number: 8

The '--' operator placed before a value decrements it by one, then returns it.
Current Number: 7
Pre-increment: 6
New Number: 6
